WELCOME to Day ONE April

Good Morning,
Here we go, I am already feeling the "cleansing" happening and it is only a hour or so after my JUICE breakfast. Today I did a flush (grapefruit juice, water, garlic, olive oil and ginger)! Actually, it tastes really great!
So here we are, taking on the quality of our life, through making healthy choices.
I congratulate you for taking on being good to yourself, for loving yourself, for feeding yourself food that nourishes you completely.
Notice how you are feeling, notice the thoughts you have, notice what actions you are taking, celebrate your life in all ways.
Springtime always brings up new life for me. My own recovery started on Easter Sunday 24 years ago, that was such a turning point for me. Make this Springtime a turning point in your life, and go in the direction that most inspires you and calls to you to be your BEST self!
I love you, I am grateful for you, I am so happy we are together once again this month.

Love, Terces

OK..Here we go..I was invited to the 'juice feast' by my sister in light, Claire. I need to start off saying Hello my name is Bobbi Jo and I'm a crunch-a-holic! Really I eat nuts throughout the day, everyday. But I've done cleanses and survived the withdrawals..oh..for a handful of raw almonds. We are starting on a grapefruit lemon combo with the ginger, grlic and water..and we are loving ourselves ..Salute!

Evening day one - finally I have the space to juice with you all! After 3 months of traveling and being in non-juice possible situations, I am here the first week of April and juicing with you. Ahhhhh. Today was a bit of a dog's breakfast since I was teaching all day but my helper went to Cafe G in Berkle-derkle and got me a juice a soup and a coconut to carry me thru. I am home now and the next few days I CONTROL THE KITCHEN !! Woo hoo! love to all - xoxo Otter

Thanks to all of you for sharing. I love when more of us contribute here, it makes such a difference for me too. Today went well, I already feel the now familiar "lightness" and I admit I had headache most of the day. I can see I could have included more water in my day, so will be sure to put that in tomorrow. I also had a really full schedule today and was literally running from one chore to the next and while it feels good to be so productive I can see how taking it slower on the initial JUICE day is beneficial. Sweet dreams and thanks for being here! Love, Terces

Hello Terces!

Thanks for inviting me to blog thr other day. I look forward to doing so soon. I have started today, as I had lots of things to focus on yesterday in terms of work and wanted to ensure my first ever juice feast was without distractions. So here I am! I about to get some veg and fruit to juice - thanks for the tip on grapefruit!

Day went well for me! I love how in control I feel when I am doing this. I made your Thai Coconut Curry Soup that you shared with us last time, it has become one of my favorites! Wishing everyone lots of happiness!

Hi all, great to be doing this with all of you, it's my first time 'fasting' with others online. I love those invisible threads.
Juice...I have a question. Does this mean liquid or necessarily raw and cold? Are broths considered juice? I find I am wanting something warm to drink and last night made a broth. Also I was wondering what the proportions were on the grapefruit garlic drink you mentioned yesterday Terces.
This morning I juiced 2 apples and a half a lemon.

mid morning drink or second breakfast (i feel a bit like a hobbit) in the blender, a banana, two scoops of a superfood green powder, freshmade almond milk,a shot of pineapple juice and blueberries. MMMM. You brought up love in your post Terces. It made me think about the distinction that the Tibetans make between love and compassion. Love is the wish for all beings to have happiness and the causes of happiness, whereas compassion is the wish for all beings to be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. Nice distinction eh? Speaking of love, I am crazy in love these days with a man i was with in my 20's (I'm 52 now) It's a reunite story! And we are getting married in the fall. All this is to say romantic love paticularly is very present for me and it is infusing everything. Even my historic bad attitude about LA. I think LA is glorious now! Ahhh love, it works magic.

Day one went great for me. I hit a wall early and got rally tired. I took a small nap and then had a raw soup from Gratitude and juice. After that I felt awake and happy. This feeling continued through the day. Looking forward to more.

Yesterday went alright for me. I juiced, smoothied, and souped. Then I had some coconut bliss ice cream. Not really what the juice doctor called for but I was craving. I'm a little disappointed in myself but that's ok. I'm ok.
I had a headache all day yesterday and my challenge for today is to drink much more water- as I was lacking on day one.
Good luck to everyone!
