DAY TWO JUNE

Good Morning,
Was so wonderful going to Jeffrey and Carrye's wedding yesterday and seeing the young people we have mentored over the years choose marriage. It was also so great to meet their parents and see the community that has gathered around them.
They also had some delicious homemade Gingerale that was the perfect fit for how I was feeling.
I did have some salad and later in the day a couple cherries that are just ripening on our trees and I feel good.
This morning Green Juice with a touch of fresh grapefruit juice and later a fresh strawberry smoothie.
How are you doing.
I did an intestinal cleanse recently so am being careful not to under nourish myself, sometimes my tendency when juicing.
Today I am going to have a green juice with Avocado added for some more substance as well.
How are you feeling?
How are you going to nourish yourself today, in some special way?
Love you all.
Thanks for being here... and if you read into yesterdays post that it wasn't ok to Juice some months and not others, I apologize, I simply wanted to make sure that those on the list were experiencing the benefits of the communication, support and community.
Love,
Terces

Hi Terces and all,

I was doing really well yesterday. I was experiencing some discomforts in the form of a stuffy nose and a slight headache and irritability. But I was staying true to being raw and mostly juices (had a squash soup for dinner). Then unfortunately, my daughter made pizza (my most favorite cooked food) and she left it out on the counter. I was going to bed and I cleaned it up for her, eating one piece as I did :( In retrospect, it would have been better if I'd asked her to clean up her food and not even walked into the kitchen. But such is my pattern: to be drawn to the "yummy" food. Oh well. This morning, I still look gorgeous! I can see the excess fluids are still leaving my face and body. I know this is a process of becoming healthier and loving myself more. It's slow but it's sure :)

It's day four for me now. I'm planning on nourishing myself be going back to bed, even though it's 10 in the morning. I'm just feeling very sleep deprived. After that, I plan on a day of wonderful juices. I'm throwing in boysenberries, strawberries and blueberries that I just picked up from the Saturday farmer's market. :)

Hi Kris,
It is amazing how the food left out can be such a temptation, no worries, you sound great.
Love. T
